What is Kite Day & Community Picnic?

Kite Day & Community Picnic is a free family-centered community event hosted by Lions Legacy Community Development. The event includes kites, games, water activities, food, vendors, nonprofits, youth entrepreneur booths, and family-friendly fun.

10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

What does my sponsorship support?

Sponsorships help cover event costs such as kites, shirts, water activities, games, bouncy houses, event supplies, signage, volunteer needs, cooling stations, and other family-friendly activities.

Do I have to sponsor at a certain level?

No. We have suggested levels, but we are grateful for support at any amount. Sponsors may also give in-kind donations such as water, ice, supplies, food support, printing, or activity materials.

Will my business be recognized?

Yes. Sponsor recognition may include website placement, social media posts, event signage, activity-area recognition, and post-event thank-you materials depending on sponsorship level.

Will sponsor logos be placed on shirts?

Possibly, depending on timing, shirt design, sponsor level, and print deadline. Because shirts must be prepared ahead of time, logos submitted after the deadline may only be included on digital materials, signage, or social media recognition.

Can I sponsor a specific activity?

Yes. Sponsors may support specific areas such as the Kite Giveaway, Water Fun Zone, Bouncy Houses, Family Games, Youth Entrepreneur Booth, Family Photo Area, Cooling Station, or Food/Picnic Support.

Can my business attend the event?

Yes. Sponsors may request a booth or table space if they want to attend, share information, offer a giveaway, or connect with families.

Can nonprofits sponsor or participate?

Yes. Nonprofits, churches, community groups, and service organizations are welcome to sponsor, partner, or attend as resource vendors.

Are raffle items needed this year?

No. We are not focusing on raffle items this year. Our main goal is direct sponsorship, activity support, vendor participation, and community resources.

Is my sponsorship tax-deductible?

Lions Legacy Community Development is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Sponsors should consult their tax professional regarding deductibility and recordkeeping.

How do I sponsor?

Complete the sponsor interest form and Lions Legacy will follow up with payment options, logo details, recognition deadlines, and event-day information.
