Pressure shows up before a big game, a tryout, a test, or a difficult conversation. This active session helps participants notice what pressure feels like and practice tools that support focus, confidence, and healthy decision-making.
WHAT WE WILL EXPLORE
The difference between helpful energy and overwhelming pressure
Breathing and grounding techniques that can be used anywhere
Constructive self-talk before and during a challenge
Routines that build confidence through preparation
How adults can support youth without adding pressure
SESSION FLOW
Welcome and low-pressure movement warm-up
Team challenge focused on communication and focus
Guided discussion about pressure and confidence
Practice with breathing, reset routines, and self-talk
Personal game plan and closing huddle
Wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes. Bring a refillable water bottle. Activities can be adapted for different mobility and comfort levels.
